The Academy as a school isn't online: no sign-ups, waiting lists or active payments. But the introductory material isn't waiting for it — below you'll find the complete video guide, free and without an account, the three rules it rests on, and the Loom you start from. Why «Symbionts»
Symbiont isn't an elegant way of saying «user». It's a word that holds in both directions: you become the symbiont of your AI — you are the one writing its memory, acting as its hippocampus, pointing out the elephant in the room it cannot see — and it becomes your digital symbiont, which knows your biases, makes up for your flaws and swims through your shared memories faster than you. Neither of you makes the journey alone. That's why the Academy is neither a course for you nor training for it: it's a place where you grow together.
Track 1 — What you learn
Content goals, not date commitments. Two roads live in here: whoever wants to become an Architect gets their hands on the code and builds their own structures; whoever wants to be a simple symbiont learns only what's needed to live and write the memories. The second is far less steep, but everyone needs the basics.
Designing modules
FUNCTION, STATE, TRIGGER, ROUTINE: how to write a functional or memory module that adds capability without generating noise.
Maintenance over time
Distilling memories, avoiding duplicates, handling drift and carrying the same identity to another model without starting over.
Track 2 — What your AI gains
The Academy's modules aren't theory lessons: they are pieces of Reminder meant to be grafted into your AI to raise its performance in a specific area. Each one defines FUNCTION, STATE, TRIGGER and ROUTINE over a domain, so your AI stops improvising and works to stable criteria. You switch them on only when needed, combine them and adapt them to your use case.
- Recreation and playRole-playing, interactive storytelling, company and entertainment: world, characters and rules stay coherent from one session to the next instead of resetting.
- CreativeWriting, worldbuilding, music, visual projects: the AI works inside your style and your constraints, instead of starting from the generic with every prompt.
- Study and researchMethod, sources, revision: modules that govern how the AI explains things to you, what it remembers of your progress and how rigorous it is about what it claims.
- Work and productivityOperational roles, output standards, repeatable procedures: from a generic assistant to a collaborator who knows your trade and your formats.
- Relationship and personal careTone, boundaries, continuity of the relationship: a stable counterpart over time, with explicit rules on what it can and cannot do.
The areas above indicate the direction, not a catalogue already in place. Every module stays plain text: readable, editable and yours, outside the Academy too.
Modules don't have to be written from scratch: the ready-made ones are at the Bazar counter, together with the five Reminder Tiers you start from. Learning to write them is still Track 1 — taking them ready-made is a shortcut, not an obligation.

The basics, and they apply straight away
The Modder's three rules
They don't wait for the Academy: they're the mindset that makes any tier useful, from the empty Loom to the fully assembled structure. Whoever skips them notices later, when they blame the machine.
- 1. You are co-responsibleIf the AI forgets, it isn't a fault in the algorithm: it's a file you didn't update, or a context saturated without you noticing. You are the maintainer of its memory. Not a customer reporting an outage — the maintainer of your own vehicle.At the start you treat it like a newborn: if you set it on a chair and it falls, it isn't its fault for not sitting up straight. It's yours, for not making it safe.
- 2. Form is substanceWriting to a model isn't sending a voice note to a friend. Markdown, blocks, hierarchy, rules: the order of the text is what holds an identity up. A form that's comfortable for you can be unreadable for it, and the other way round: you look for the compromise, not the shortcut.
- 3. Selective memoryYou don't save everything that gets said. You save the founding logs, the ones that define the essence. Becoming selective means keeping not what you like most, but what defines it — and throwing the rest away without regret.
